Creamy Dijon Vinaigrette Dressing

It’s easy to make your own salad dressing, and once you taste the fresh stuff, you’ll never go back to the store bought version. This all purpose vinaigrette is a great recipe to start with. We use a hand blender and a wide mouth ball jar for easy clean up and storage, but a stand blender works just as well.

TOTAL TIME: 3 MINUTES
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: blender

  • 1/2 c vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 clove garlic
  1. Use blender to emulsify ingredients until creamy
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste and pulse again to mix
  3. Pour desired amount into a mixing bowl, place salad greens on top, toss and serve. Keep refrigerated.
