It’s easy to make your own salad dressing, and once you taste the fresh stuff, you’ll never go back to the store bought version. This all purpose vinaigrette is a great recipe to start with. We use a hand blender and a wide mouth ball jar for easy clean up and storage, but a stand blender works just as well.
TOTAL TIME: 3 MINUTES
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: blender
- 1/2 c vegetable oil
- 1/4 c wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 clove garlic
- Use blender to emulsify ingredients until creamy
- Add salt and pepper to taste and pulse again to mix
- Pour desired amount into a mixing bowl, place salad greens on top, toss and serve. Keep refrigerated.
